1. CLEAR PROJECT SCOPE AND FIXED-PRICE QUOTE
Before construction begins, we provide a detailed written proposal outlining the agreed scope of work, materials and project stages. This ensures you understand exactly what is included in your Toronto bathroom renovation.
If hidden issues—such as damaged framing or subflooring—are discovered after demolition, we will explain the recommended solution and provide a separate written estimate for your approval before completing any additional work.
2. PROFESSIONAL WATERPROOFING
A long-lasting bathroom begins beneath the tile. We carefully prepare the substrate, reinforce corners, niches and drain connections, and install a professional waterproofing system before tile installation begins.
Every shower waterproofing system undergoes a 24-hour flood test and is protected by our 5-year warranty on waterproofing and tile installation.

Focus Reno carries $5 million in liability insurance and maintains WSIB coverage. Plumbing and electrical work is completed by qualified professionals in accordance with the Ontario Building Code and applicable local requirements.
We protect surrounding floors and surfaces, control construction dust and maintain a clean, organized work area throughout the project.
5. A CLEAR AND EFFICIENT SCHEDULE
Most standard three-piece bathrooms are completed within 7–10 business days. Custom features, layout changes, special-order materials or condominium approvals may require additional time.

Required plumbing work is completed, followed by waterproofing installation and testing where applicable.
20% — TILE & FIXTURE INSTALLATION
Tile installation is completed, and the main bathroom fixtures and finishes are installed.
10% — FINAL WALKTHROUGH
The remaining details are completed, the work area is cleaned, and we conduct the final inspection with you.
Accepted payment methods: Interac e-Transfer, cheque and major credit cards. A processing fee may apply to credit-card payments.
Any additional work or upgrades requested during construction will be quoted and approved separately.

01 — IN-HOME CONSULTATION
We inspect the existing bathroom, take measurements and discuss your preferred layout, style, fixtures and budget. We also consider access and condominium requirements when applicable.
02 — FREE 3D DESIGN & PROJECT PROPOSAL
You receive a personalized 3D design, a clearly defined scope of work, material allowances, an estimated schedule and a detailed fixed-price proposal.
03 — HOME PROTECTION & DEMOLITION
Before demolition begins, we protect floors and surrounding surfaces and isolate the work area. After removing the existing finishes, we inspect the framing and subfloor for hidden damage.
04 — ROUGH-INS & WATERPROOFING
Required plumbing and electrical work is completed by qualified trades. We then prepare the shower area, install the waterproofing system and perform a 24-hour flood test where applicable.
05 — TILE, FIXTURES & FINISHING
Tile, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, lighting, glass and finishing details are installed according to the approved design.
06 — FINAL WALKTHROUGH & WARRANTY
We clean the work area, inspect the completed bathroom with you and address any agreed finishing details. Your waterproofing and tile installation are protected by our 5-year warranty.

Eligible products remain covered by their manufacturer warranties. Focus Reno also provides a 5-year workmanship warranty on waterproofing and tile installation.
✓ 5-YEAR WORKMANSHIP COVERAGE
Waterproofing and tile installation completed by Focus Reno are covered for five years, subject to the terms provided in your renovation agreement.
✓ MANUFACTURER PRODUCT WARRANTIES
Eligible fixtures, equipment and finishing materials remain covered by the warranties supplied by their respective manufacturers.
✓ A CLEAR SERVICE PROCESS
If you believe there is a covered workmanship issue, contact Focus Reno so the area can be inspected and the appropriate solution determined.
Complete coverage terms, maintenance requirements and exclusions are provided in the signed contract. Manufacturer defects, normal wear, misuse, structural movement and work modified by another contractor are not covered by the Focus Reno workmanship warranty.
